Kokanee Springs Resort Club
The flagship of Kootenay courses
Kokanee Springs Resort in Crawford Bay, B.C., is one of Canada's finest championship 18-hole courses. This graceful track, considered by many to be the flagship of Kootenay golf courses, resides in a magnificent mountain setting on Kootenay Lake. Every hole is framed by spectacular panoramic views of the Kokanee Glacier and surrounding area.
The course has an amazing history dating all the way back to 1968. The course is a Norman Woods original. Woods had already designed the famous Green Gables Course in P.E.I. and the Gorge Vale on Vancouver Island, as well as Toronto’s outstanding Richmond Hill. With more than 300 golf courses to his credit, Woods still recalls Kokanee Springs as his greatest challenge.
Kokanee Springs is characterized by its long driving fairways, immense rolling greens, immaculate course upkeep and ability to interest and challenge golfers at all levels.
The course also has a team of CPGA professionals that run the Kokanee Golf School, and they also provide lessons for groups or individuals.
You can also stay and play at Kokanee Springs. The resort offers cottages, villas and lodges for your comfort that feature all the amenities. The course also has a number of stay-and-play packages.
Another unique aspect of the course is that shuttle service is provided to golfers for free. Someone can pick you up and drop you off at the Kootenay Lake Ferry so you don't have to worry about crossing in time.
Bunkers Grill is located on the course for hungry golfers. Besides providing delicious, contemporary and original food items, a number of gluten-free options are also available on the menu.
