Lee Creek Valley Golf Course
Lee Creek Valley Golf Course in Cardston is both economical and suitable for golfers of all experience levels
No matter what your skill level is, there is no better place for a pleasant round of golf than Lee Creek Valley Golf Course in Cardston, Alberta. Noted as an inspiring—not to mention economical—course among ladies and gentlemen alike, this 18-hole Les Furber masterpiece boasts the kind of scenery that draws golfers from all over the country. While it challenges players with water hazards and sand traps, the set-up allows for relaxed playability as well.
“The big thing about our course is the fact that it's not just back and forth,” said Dale Cahoon, clubhouse manager. “It's the view, the mountains, the wildlife—and we have so many elevated tees. It’s not a course you'd walk . . . (although) you can if you want. But just the setting in the foothills and the valleys, and the way that it looks, is great.”
In addition to the scenic qualities of Lee Creek Valley Golf Course, the friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere are additional bonuses.
“It really does (appeal to all levels),” said Cahoon. “If we get one comment, it's that it is the women's favourite course. It's a Les Furber course and it's designed so that anybody can score on it depending on the tee boxes you use. It's got three lakes and a river going through it.”
You can also book tournaments and other special events at the new event centre, or take advantage of Seniors Day on Mondays, Toonie Tuesdays, or other regular specials.
