Specific tip about playing Big Mountain

As open as Big Mountain Golf Club looks, each hole is surrounded by plenty of trouble. On the front nine, native grass grows and surrounds the holes. If a shot strays offline into the native grass, sometimes your best play is to get it back into play. Don't be a hero and try to hit a low percentage shot: grab a high-lofted club or a wedge and get it back into play.

A tip for golfers of any level

When warming up for your round at Big Mountain Golf Club or any golf course, hit 20 practice balls with your feet together making half swings. You will find that most of these shots will be hit with very good contact. Use the good contact feeling to continue your warm-up into your full swing shots. Give it a try.
