Be aware of elevation changes at Creston Golf Club

Adjust by roughly 10 yards for every 30 feet in elevation change

by Karen Kornelsen

The most important thing to remember when playing golf at the beautiful Creston Golf Club is to be aware of the elevation changes, especially on your shots to the greens. There are very few shots that actually play their measured yardages, so adjust by roughly 10 yards for every 30 feet in elevation change. While it depends on the trajectory of your own shots, this guideline will make your day more enjoyable, as the quality shots you hit will finish closer to your targets.

If you have noticed your tee shots from elevated tees finishing on the left sides of the fairways, adjust accordingly. Players quite often align themselves too far left on elevated tees.

Remember to adjust for elevation change to make your golf at the Creston Golf Club enjoyable and successful.
