A good neighbour donates errant golf balls to junior program

A good Samaritan neighbour (Harry F.) who lives on the Wildstone Golf Course in Cranbrook has been busy collecting errant golf balls over the golf season. Instead of hording them in his garage or selling them at a flea market, Harry decided to donate the golf balls to the course’s Junior Knights Golf Program.

“Thanks to Wildstone resident Harry F. for the donation to the Junior Knights Golf Program. The kids will love these!!!” said Wildstone, on their Facebook page. One Facebook follower made this, tongue-in-cheek, reply, “I think I see a couple of my balls that I lost this past summer! LOL.” Sounds like a great idea to donate these gently used golf balls.  It was much appreciated by Wildstone and its junior golf program.
