The best ball for fall
Using low compression golf balls in the autumn will serve your game better. Srixon, a golf equipment manufacturer based in California, makes the Z-STAR Tour ball, a low compression unit. In colder temperatures, golf balls get harder and a low compression ball makes it easier to transfer the energy from the club. A softer ball will compress easier, which translates into greater distances out on the links. The Z-STAR is designed for swing speeds between 130 to 170 kilometres per hour and features a three-piece construction of the core, the ionomer mid-layer and the urethane elastomer cover with 324 dimples.
