If you’re trying to give your game that extra little something this season, look no farther than the latest clubs by TaylorMade. The company is putting out an exciting line of drivers and irons for this season, most distinctly their new R1 drivers and RocketBladez irons.

As far as drivers go, TaylorMade’s R1s are certainly some of the best quality a golfer can find. The R1 gives the user the option to select from five face-angle positions so that the driver is fit for the precise circumstance it is needed for. This allows for the face of the driver to impact with the ball precisely square-on. There are also 12 unique loft-sleeve settings to choose from at a variety of angles as well as movable shot-shape weights to promote a longer draw and straighter flight.

When it comes to irons, the RocketBladez promote an interesting new technology that could prove to be almost revolutionary. These irons are a unique creation from TaylorMade for one particular reason: the Speed Pocket, a two-millimetre-wide slot in the sole that flexes and rebounds at impact in order to increase the face speed, which then leads to higher launch angles and faster ball speed. The Speed Pocket also quiets vibrations without hindering the flex of the club itself.
