Injury prevention

Chronic pain in the back, shoulder and knees are all possible with golfers, and proper stretching before rounds can mitigate and prevent such injuries.
Tom Drum, an triathlete and personal trainer in the U.S., developed ‘Fraid Nots, a simple rope with knots at the end with an accompanying booklet to use in a stretching program. The manual provided details 15 stretches that work the whole body in five minutes—and people can customize their program to fit their schedule. Highly portable, 'Fraid Nots can easily be tucked away in your golf bag and the colourful braided threads make for a noticeable reminder. A door strap, laminated sequence chart and video are also included to provide users with step-by-step instruction on proper stretching technique.
