GolfSense is the world’s first wearable motion sensor and smartphone app that lets you see your swing in 3D and gives instant feedback.

Launched last spring, Golfsense and its parent company Zepp Technology are the products of a partnership between Robin Han, a former software and sensor design engineer for Microsoft Asia, and Jason Fass, a former Apple product manager.

“In many sports, technique is key to success,” said Fass, Zepp Technology CEO. “GolfSense provides immediate feedback, allowing you to finely tune your golf swing for maximum results. While it’s impossible to replace hands-on instruction from a skilled professional, GolfSense is an excellent diagnostic tool to be used in conjunction with your instructor or when practicing on your own. Our goal was to create something that is easy to use and allows you to see an analysis of your swing like never before.”

How it works

The GolfSense patented high-velocity motion engine uses data from four discrete MEMS sensors inside a lightweight, glove-worn device to accurately calculate club speed, club position, swing tempo and swing path. The device pairs with a free mobile app that allows you to analyze and compare swings on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

GolfSense can be purchased for just over $100 online at GolfSense.me or in stores at Apple and Best Buy retail locations within the United States. The free GolfSense mobile app can be downloaded from the App Store.
