Eagle Ranch Resort
Award-winning beauty
Once named the best conditioned course in B.C. by SCOREGolf, Eagle Ranch Resort truly is a jaw-dropping beauty. It sits perched atop bluffs overlooking the deep blue waters of Lake Windermere and the Columbia River, for a stunning sight you won’t soon forget.
Always looking for a way to keep things fresh, Eagle Ranch offers a unique challenge to golfers called Beat the Pro.
“Basically there will be a pro waiting on the 16th hole,” said Steve Haggard, head pro, “and guests can challenge them for a closest to the pin contest. We do it on long weekends and at really busy points to get some more excitement around the resorts.”
Haggard is not only the head professional at Eagle Ranch, but also at its sister course, Silvertip Resort in Canmore.
“I drive a lot, I really do,” he said. “It depends on the business volume, I go wherever needs me the most.”
Eagle Ranch has earned a 4.5 star rating by Golf Digest, and can be found nestled in the heart of the Columbia Valley in the small town of Invermere.
