Birchbank celebrates 90 years

Birchbank Golf Course, located in Trail, B.C., started out as the Rossland Trail Country Club in 1922. Since then, the course has undergone major changes and in 2006 became a fantastic and challenging 18-hole course with a new name.

Since 1962, changes at the Birchbank course include the reconstruction of several greens, hole relocations, additional bunkers and tee boxes as well as a new irrigation system, with ponds situated along Hole 12 and Hole 15 fairways.

Birchbank has developed into one of the finest golf courses in the Kootenays and is sure to provide an excellent golf experience for every level of golfer.

The course holds numerous tournaments and its restaurant, Birchbank Bistro, offers menu items for everyone.
