Swing smooth and within yourself.  A swing that has a nice tempo will promote consistent contact and better distance control than over-swinging and extending yourself.  (Lance Palamaruk, Head Professional)

When playing the Lac La Biche Golf and Country Club, it is very important you are able to work the ball around some of the doglegs, and choosing the correct club off the tee will help set you up for your approaches. Hitting the fairway will keep you away from the big numbers, which are very easy to find on this course. With the course not being overly long, it puts an emphasis on finding the fairway (not necessarily with the driver) and that will set you up to shoot a nice score.
