Pssst, wanna buy a golf course with a spectacular view and a restaurant too?

Sun Rivers Partnership has sounded a familiar call — that of the development company that never intended to stay in the business it spawned: golf course management and dishing up entrees.

Sun Rivers Golf Course and Hoodoos restaurant are going on the block, CEO Rick Siemens confirmed last week. No price has been disclosed.

Siemens told the media that the sale is intended to allow the land development company to focus on its core operations — specifically, the build-out of Sun Rivers.

Plans call for a doubling in the scale of the development on the lower flanks of Mt. Paul over the next decade. There are currently 825 residential units in the development, where the first unit sold in year 2000.

The Sun Rivers group of companies was created for the express purpose of developing the golf course community, which has grown to more than 4,000 residents and employs about 100 people.

The combined properties are to be listed with Colliers International real estate divison.
